OKLAHOMA HAY MARKET REPORT
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK Thu Mar 14, 2019 Oklahoma Dept. of Ag Market News

Alfalfa trade as well as grass hay trade was mostly slow. Demand mostly
moderate. Movement was moderate to fairly active with most deliveries of
previously contracted or purchased hay. Prices fully steady. Statewide rains
improved pastures and crops in western Oklahoma but curtailed hay and
livestock movement in most central and eastern counties. Green-up is well
underway in southern and south central Oklahoma.

Market News continues to maintain an online hay directory for both in-state
and out-of-state hay producers. The directories are on the ODAFF homepage
at www.oda.state.ok.us. Producers wishing to list hay are encouraged to call
at 1-405-522-3753 or email jack.carson@ag.ok.gov.
